Second Sex & The City Movie Coming in 2010
The second big-screen adaptation of the extremely popular U.S. TV Series ‘Sex & The City’ is due to hit cinemas worldwide on May 28, 2010.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis are all believed to be reprising their roles. Chris Noth – who plays Carrie Bradshaw’s husband ‘Mr. Big’ – has dropped a hint that the producers are ‘probably thinking’ about giving the couple a child or children.
Sarah Jessica Parker (who plays Carrie) has however refused to speculate about what the future has in store for the shoe-loving columnist. She reportedly said “In a million years I’m not going to give you an indication. I want someone to show up that first weekend!”
Cynthia – who plays lawyer Miranda Hobbes – reportedly has her own dreams for the plot. She said “I would love to see Miranda and Carrie and Charlotte and Samantha all go off on some wild madcap adventure somewhere.”
It was rumored recently that some of the new movie will be filmed in London, UK. Another source reportedly said “the sequel will include key scenes of Carrie and Big in London, possibly shooting this winter for six weeks. Big loses a lot of money and takes a job in London, living alone in a one-bedroom apartment. Big gets really low and ends up in bed with another woman. After she leaves him, Carrie discovers she is pregnant.”
This Sex & The City Movie should definitely make for interesting viewing.
